Fort Johnson Baptist Church

JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Lightning struck the steeple at Fort Johnson Baptist Church during a thunderstorm on September 9, 2021, causing it to catch fire and spread to the building below. The fire caused the sanctuary’s roof to collapse.
Restoring the church after this natural disaster, we provided the congregation a new two-level 420 seat auditorium and an aluminum storefront foyer that serves as the establishment’s main focal point. Both renovations kept to the original traditional style, but with updated improvements to ensure the longevity of the church’s home.
